Hi, I'm Javi.

In 2019, I founded Slytex, a creative studio where I help early-stage founders design, build, and launch their products.

I lead product design end-to-end, from research and user testing to UI/UX, design systems, and front-end software. Some recent work includes Reamp, Orbie, and SignHop.

I'm most drawn to consumer apps and marketplaces, where design directly shapes how people discover, connect, and transact.

I've also worked as a fractional product designer with early-stage teams like Firstbase, Spinamp, and Seam, building the first screens and the systems that keep a product together as it grows.

Prior to Slytex, I helped lead design & marketing at Kushner and partnerships at SHOWFIELDS. I was briefly a retail advisor at Warby Parker and helped open the Rockefeller Center location in 2017.

I was born in Bogotá, grew up in South Florida, and now live in New York City. Outside of work, I'm usually cycling around Prospect Park, meditating with Calm, or listening to Founders podcast.
